Taraji P. Henson totally works it on the red carpet at the 2015 Directors Guild of America Awards held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Saturday evening (February 7) in Century City, Calif.
The 44-year-old actress had a big thing to celebrate – her new show Empire just broke a 23-year television ratings record to become the first series to ever grow in total viewers over each of its first five telecasts.
The record may stretch even longer than that, but the Nielsen ratings system was revised in 1991 and that’s as far back the comparisons can go, according to EW. Such a cool record to hold!
